The current directive to close nurseries and pre school is applauded but we feel that Primary 1 to Primary 3 classes should also be closed. Meantime the radio should give more prominent coverage and updates to the population in general as to the precautions to observe to avoid infection. |

Comments | I have a 6 year old daughter and am very concerned out the "Coxsackie" outbreak. I find it very worrying that there is no positive conclusions from the studies currently being conducted on the outbreak. It seems to me that only lately has the outbreak been given more than a passing concern by the govt and media. Most parents I know are getting worried and some like myself have started to keep our childern strictly indoors . Most parents are still uncertain as to the nature of the systems and preventive measures. I applaud and thank you for most informative resources. Pls keep up the good work. |

Comments | Books; world events; science/health I arrived at this point because of a MSNews headline which popped up on my screen--headline re smoke & pollution from fires in Malaysia. I get most of my news from National Public Radio, some TV, and a lot from the internet. The internet is so accessible for the specific news one might desire, plus one gets a variety of sources on one topic/issue, thus more perspectives, andthus, hopefully, more of the real facts, less opinion and less speculation. |
