Cybermed Update February 2001

"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty."

Winston Churchill (1874-1965)

This month we will look at Malaysian Government useful web sites.

A one stop site for whole load of links. Do not miss the "Agencies Index" to look for site if you do not see it on the main page. The site search does not work well. I tried "EPF" and it did not give me what I was looking for but when I typed "KWSP" it pointed me to a link that gave me direction to the site. Main page available in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

A fairly simple page but the graphics took some time to download. Information available in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Information on withdrawal, nomination, forms, FAQ's available.

Information in Bahasa Malaysia and English available. Enough information available although some sites the graphic links are faulty. I would prefer the link to addresses of the various offices prominently displayed somewhere.

Like most other sites, PSD has both Malay and English version web pages. A few important hyperlinks from here, mainly University Recognition ( ) site.

English and Malay version available for main page but most circulars etc are in Malay.

Fairly colourful page. Both language versions available. Some interesting links include

- List of addresses of Hospitals and Clinics fairly comprehensive.

- Various divisions in MOH fairly comprehensive.

- Malaysian Medical Council which includes (Down)

  • The Code of Professional Conduct

  • List of Registrable Qualifications - Schedule 2, Section 12(1)(a)(1), Medical Act 1971

  • Unscheduled Universities and Colleges Eligible to Sit for the Qualifying Examination - Section 12(1)(aa), Medical Act 1971

Both Malay and English version available.

    Only Malay Version available.

All information about the Prime Minister, cabinet, etc plus if you want to email the PM, you may do so at .
